COLLABORATE + INNOVATE
After writing a Critical Analysis exploring the issue of copycat fashion in the industry, Louella created a 360 campaign for Missguided. The idea behind this campaign was to get Missguided collaborating and working with up-coming, emerging designers rather than taking ‘inspiration’ from the designs.
This gives Missguided the opportunity to launch new and fresh designs, whilst combating the issue of copycat fashion they’ve been known for. On the other hand, it gives the chance for talented individuals who are new to the industry the chance to get their designs seen and credited.
The brands would find their new talent at the annual graduate fashion week. This awards ceremony is a marked date in the fashion calendar and showcases some of the best talent from those graduating. This is the perfect place to find new talent, who would also love the opportunity to collaborate after just finishing their degree.
I worked with two designers, Becci Ball {@beccifashion} and Jessica Mae {@jessica_thelabel} to create a collaborative camapaign. My work includes mock-ups of website designs, window displays, a new curated podcast, social media content and packaging ideas.
